More Opportunities Offered to Vietnamese Poor Students

The Vietnam Beverages Review has announced a project to grant scholarships worth of VND600 million to 2,000 poor students. The project, funded by the Tan Hiep Phat Beverage Group, will last 10 years (2010-2020), the review said at a press briefing in Hanoi on June 29. In the first year, the project is being carried out in 8 poor districts in Thanh Hoa province. Accordingly, 200 poor students in this province will receive support at a cost of VND250,000 per student a month. A meeting among 200 poor students is scheduled to take place in Thanh Hoa province in the coming time.
