National Coordinator for HIV/AIDS Programs

ESTHER (Ensemble pour une Solidarité Thérapeutique Hospitalière en Réseau) is a french public organization involved in capacity building in care and treatment for HIV/AIDS patients in 18 countries. ESTHER is working in Vietnam since 2002, through hospital twinning between Vietnamese and French hospitals. We are looking for a qualified and experienced Vietnamese National for the  position of national coordinator for HIV/AIDS programs in Vietnam, based in Hanoi.

Main responsabilities of the coordinator :
- Guides and supports the partners in writing, budgeting and implementing the projects, according to identified needs and national policies.
- Takes part in timely analysis of quality of care and ensures projects are consistant with the evolution of national recommandations and access to care strategies.
- Ensures data exchange and good collaboration relationships with national authorities, technical and financial partners,  NGOs and networks
- Represents ESTHER in national and international meetings at GIP ESTHER request.
- Gathers and communicates data related to the evolution of national HIV program and care and treatment of people living with HIV/AIDS in Vietnam and on ESTHER sites.
- Ensures procedures implementation, and technical and financial reports finalization in due time.
- is responsible for preparing and organizing ESTHER follow-up committee
- Supports the partners in preparing and organizing missions and training workshops.

Qualification required
- Relevant academic qualifications (health care professionnal or project manager, being a Medical Doctor would be an asset)
- Experience in HIV/AIDS and interest for psycho-social approach;
- Knowledge in Public Health and experience in health program management;
- Willingness to  travel frequently to Haiphong and HCMC;
- Practical experiences  and demonstrable skills in project administration and management;
- Good French and English writing and general communication skills;
- Experience with Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Power Point…);
- Dynamism, flexibility, good communication skills, capacity for team work.
