Position: One Business Relation Consultant
Location: Danang city
Background: The East Meets West Foundation (EMW) is “the foundation for learning, healing and health". Founded in 1988, EMW has a 22-year track record of innovative and effective work in Vietnam and a vast portfolio of completed projects. EMW projects and programs are known for their high quality, long-term sustainability, emphasis on results and significant scale.
Tasks: EMW is in partnership with The SDC center (Trung Tam Phat Trien Phan Mem, Dai Hoc Da Nang) to implement the Danang System & Network Administrators training scholarship program (DSNA) for high school post-graduated student in Danang, Vietnam. This program will last for 3 years. In framework of this program, we are now seeking a consultant to do the service contract with the following contents:
- Establishing networking with companies to organize internship for students
- Provide training service about Business Life to the 30 students of the Danang System & Network Administrators training.
- Be responsible for ensuring link with local companies (including internship search and follow-up).
- Work under the supervision of DSNA-EMW staff and report the progress and results of activities when requested.
Duration of consultant contract: 3 years. The contract will be renewed each year
Start time: September 2010
Requirements:
- 0-3 years of professional experience.
- Business oriented education
- Ability to teach English contents in Vietnamese, and then progressively in English (Business Life course materials already exist in English)
- Good communication, facilitation and teaching skills
- Strong social commitment
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills, including an ability to build relationships and capacity with national and local partners
