Phu Yen Province Allocates 60 Tons of Salt to Ethnic Minority

Authorities of the central province of Phu Yen have provided nearly 60 tons of iodized salt for 11,500 locals in Song Hinh district. The salts benefited local people in the fives communes of EaBa, EaLam, Ealy, Song Hinh and EaBia, the Nong Thon Ngay Nay newspaper reported June 24. Earlier, local authorities also allocated 255 tons of fertilizers and 90 tons of corn seeds for more than 400 poor households in EaTrol, EaBar, Ealy and Song Hinh communes, aiming to help them stabilize lives and production.
