We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Program Manager to lead our Inclusive and Resilient Urban Development Program.
Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Manager for the Inclusive and Resilient Urban Development Program to lead, coordinate, and enhance our initiatives promoting inclusivity and resilience in urban and community development. This role involves managing program operations, fostering partnerships with diverse stakeholders, driving strategic planning, and implementing impactful communication strategies. Candidates with expertise in urban planning, management, architecture, construction, environmental management, or social management are highly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Program Management
- Lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of program activities to ensure they meet organizational goals and objectives.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring accountability and high-quality outcomes.
- Conduct evaluations and prepare reports to showcase program performance and improvements.
Stakeholder Engagement and Partnership Building
- Establish and strengthen partnerships with government agencies, private sector organizations, community leaders, and international bodies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to co-create solutions for inclusive and resilient development.
- Represent the program at stakeholder meetings, forums, and conferences.
Strategic Planning
- Develop and execute strategic plans that align with the organization’s vision for inclusivity and resilience.
- Coordinate research and assessments to identify emerging trends and needs in the field.
- Ensure program strategies integrate best practices in urban development and social inclusion.
Communication and Advocacy
- Lead the creation and dissemination of communication materials, including presentations, reports, and outreach campaigns.
- Advocate for inclusive and resilient development practices to diverse audiences.
- Act as the program’s spokesperson, building awareness and support for its initiatives.
Qualifications
- University or Advanced degree in Urban Planning, Management, Architecture, Construction, Environmental Management, Social Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in program management, partnership development, and strategic planning.
- Strong knowledge of inclusivity, resilience, and sustainable development practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with frameworks for resilience and inclusive development.
- Experience working in diverse cultural contexts or with international stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management tools and data analysis software.
