Vacancy: Project Manager – Child Protection
Based in Ho Chi Minh City

They are looking for a qualified Vietnamese National for the position of Project Manager for Child Protection project in the South of Vietnam. The purpose of project is to develop and strengthen child
protection system to prevent and protect children from harms of abuse, exploitation, violence and trafficking. This project has been implemented in HCMC, Dong Thap and Ca Mau provinces

Job Purpose:
The project manager will be contributing to the development of child protection programme strategy and be responsible to manage the programme implementation in the southern provinces funded by EC
including planning, budgeting, management, and documentation of lessons learned.

Person specification
- University degree in Law, Social Justice, Social work or development
- 5 years of working experience in development projects
- Understanding of child protection, trafficking, migration and social work.
- Demonstrable “Training of Trainers” experience
- Experience in networking and advocacy
- Good planning, monitoring and evaluation skills
- Good coordination and organisational skills
- Ability to organise and coordinate complex activities within interrelated schedules and timelines, to demonstrate sound judgment, task orientation.
- Familiar with Government, UN and NGOs’ work in Vietnam
- Capacity to work effectively in a team and as an active team leader
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Excellent liaison and negotiation skills
- Good computer skills in Word and Excel
