Project Monitoring and Evaluation (PME)

Asia-Pacific Development Communication Centre (ADCC) is pleased to announce the upcoming Project Monitoring and Evaluation (PME) training course on 16-31 August 2010. Please find enclosed the attachment file for the application form, draft training agenda and course description.
 
This course enables participants to monitor and evaluate projects through the use of the Logical Framework Approach (LFA) where clear indicators are set for goals and objectives in a logical framework matrix. Having identified and formulated reliable and accurate indicators, participants will learn to develop measurement tools to collect and analyse data for monitoring and evaluation purposes. Participants will be introduced to monitoring and evaluation techniques such as Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) and Participatory Learning and Action (PLA), for collecting, analyzing and interpreting data.  The course will take the form of in-house sessions, practical assignments and field work.
 
The course fee for this training course is 2100 USD per person. The course fee covers the costs of tuition, teaching materials, transportation to and from the airport, and lunch and refreshments during sessions. In addition, transport and meals during field trips outside of Bangkok will be provided. The course fees does not include accommodations, dinners, transportation for personal purpose, visa and air ticket.
