Project Officer
Center for International Studies and Cooperation (CECI for short) is a non-governmental organizations of Canada, operating in the field of poverty reduction, community development, disaster mitigation and gender equality. In the history of 52 years of operation, CECI has developed programs in over 30 countries around the world. From 1992 to present, CECI with Vietnamese partners have implemented programs and projects for poverty alleviation, community development, disaster relief in some provinces in the country to provide quality service to the community.
In September 2009, CECI received a funding source from the Canadian Embassy in Vietnam to implement the project called "Project on Irrigation and Participatory Extension” (PIPE). This project will be implemented in Tu Mo Rong district of Kon Tum Province. CECI will coordinate with governments of Kon Tum province to implement the above project within 09 months from September 2009 to June 2010.
Currently, CECI needs to recruit one (01) Project Officer to work full time for our project office in Kon Tum Province.
Requirements:
- University degree or more majoring in construction;
- At least 2 years of experience working for international non-governmental organizations, female residing in Kon Tum or the Central provinces - Highlands is a plus;
- Have good knowledge in the field of disaster relief or community development;
- Ability to work independently and under high pressure;
- Ability to establish, maintain and develop good relationships with local partners;
- Good level of communication in English and Vietnamese
- Proficiency in the use of computer software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Have good health, willing to travel regularly;
- Honest, enthusiastic and highly responsible in work
