WWO’s vision is to transform the lives of orphaned children around the world. WWO is a U.S.-based NGO that provides medical and psychosocial care and treatment, and educational and arts programs for orphaned and vulnerable children, including those living with HIV/AIDS.  In Vietnam, WWO currently works with children in orphanages at Tam Binh 2 in HCMC, Vung Tau, and Social Labor Training Center #2 in Ba Vi.  WWO staff physician supports physicians and nurses at the orphanages in clinical management for palliative care and ART treatment for children, including treatment of opportunistic infections.  WWO brings experienced doctors with extensive pediatrics HIV/AIDS treatment experience to mentor health professionals in Vietnam.  WWO provides psychosocial services to help children in their development, which aim to address the developmental and psychological effects of HIV and institutional care.  We have programs to help integrate HIV infected and affected children into the community and public school, and to reduce stigma and discrimination against people living with HIV/AIDS.  WWO is expanding its programs for children, capacity building programs for caretakers and social workers, and support of networks to support children and families.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY
- Work proactively with programs manager, clinical child psychologist and medical Manager to provide a comprehensive care for children at the orphanages.
- Implement development activities in HCM city. Work closely with beneficiaries. 
- Assist in or develop other project expanding plan from WWO’s Head Quarter (Global Arts, the Early intervention program…. ) as required.
- Cooperate with Program Manager to build activities and budget for Psychosocial Service projects.
- Prepare documents and contracts to work with partners
- Support Program Manager to organize meetings with partners.
- Monthly report to Program Manager on all activities related to project implementation process
- Support reporting to donors
- Provide translation and interpretation between Vietnamese and English
- Monitor and coach HRT volunteers and caretakers to ensure participatory approach in working with OVC and their care providers
- Develop / review training documents and train for the orphanages’ staff and HRT volunteers
- Follow-up activities at the project sites maintain and update documents/files.
- Travel up to 30%
- Others tasks assigned by Country Director and Program Manager

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Have a relevant university degree in Social Work or social science or subject relevant to fulfill the requirements for the position
- Have knowledge of child psychology.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with community organizations, government officials, corporate executives, general public and staff, and effectively communicate via writing, public speaking and interpersonal interactions.
- Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
- A spirit of achieving excellence and team building.
- Ability to work well in a team and also independently
- Willingness to work with HIV/ AIDS children. Experience working with Orphans & Vulnerable Children and HIV/AIDS area is desirable.
- Enthusiasm and willingness to learn
- Ability to multitask
- Ethical conscience
- Good command of English and Vietnamese skills in reading, writing, speaking and listening comprehension
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required
- Have experience on organizing trainings and demonstrate  ability to train if necessary.
