Project Officer

For support to our Integrated Community Development  Project (ICDP) in Quan Ba district, Ha Giang province, Caritas Switzerland is recruiting a dynamic young starter/professional, with a keen interest in community development/pro-poor tourism in Vietnam, and working with ethnic groups.

He/She collaborates with the Expat/Volunteer PPT in setting up the pro-poor tourism activity in 8 villages:
- facilitates/organizes village/commune meetings and training for PPT;
- frequent visits project area, to households;
- partnership building with (local) authorities and private sector (Ha Giang and Hanoi);
- reporting/documentation (including translations);

Requirements:
- preferably (2 years) experience with working in an INGO,  and/or related study background, work as a (foreign) tourist guide;
- Fluent English skills ( a third language is an asset)
- excellent computer skills;
- good health/attitude for travelling and meeting with ethnic groups/culture;
- Job will be minimal 50% of time in the Field office in Quan Ba district, Ha Giang province.
