They are now looking for a talented, dynamic and highly motivated Vietnamese individual to contribute to our growing organization and to meet the challenging demands of the following position based in Hanoi: Researcher

This position is responsible for working within the Research department to manage all aspects of assessments and research projects conducted by PSI/Vietnam, including research studies for program development, monitoring and evaluation. The tasks of this position will include: working closely with the Research Manager to design and implement studies to respond to information needs from the program for evidence-based decision making and to evaluate the impact of programs, including behavior change communication and social marketing activities. In this position, the Research will oversee and manage field activities such as data collection and data entry through local partners, including research agencies and/or consultants and ensure quality control over training, field implementation and data collection. The Researcher will help raise the profile of PSI/Vietnam’s research internally and externally by leading on research dissemination efforts, including report writing, organizing workshop with partners and stakeholders and sharing research with the larger health community.
- Relevant University/Masters degree in public health, statistics, epidemiology, sociology, or other related field;
- Demonstrated experience (1-2 years) in the areas of study design, development and management of research tools and oversight of field data collection activities;
- The ability to analyze problems and develop creative solutions to issues;
- Experience in working with of international and/or Government’s organizations;
- Excellent managerial, analytical and attention to details, and communication skills;
- Fluent in written and spoken English;
- A good team player;
