Job Title : Risk Management Specialist
Location : Hanoi
Reports to : Country Director
Job purpose: To ensure that systems for effective and efficient management of risks within the organization are in place, providing regular reports to management on findings and recommendations, covering risk areas such as finance, procurement of goods & services, child protection, etc.
Main responsibilities:
- Conduct and manage risk assessments on program operations within the organization to ensure that all risks are under control and managed effectively and efficiently.
- Recommend to improve internal control system to mitigate risks and ensure compliance to Plan’s policies and procedures and laws of Vietnam
- Build capacity in risk assessment and management for staff and partners of the organization.
- Review and make recommendations on policies and procedures to manage risks.
Requirements:
- University degree or equivalent in finance, accounting, auditing;
- 5 years of professional experience. Experience with development projects and/or INGOs would be an advantage;
- Demonstrated track record of conducting audits of operation of organizations.
- Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness & efficiency and risk management
- Well developed skills in analysis, facilitation, communication, organization, and interpersonal relationships;
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, and the ability to work with government authorities at all levels;
- A pro-active, self-motivated, quality-driven personality;
- Fluent written and spoken English and Vietnamese;
- High level of computer proficiency.
