Russia to Grant 300 Scholarships to Vietnam Students Annually: Putin

Russia will grant 300 scholarships to Vietnamese undergraduate and post-graduate students each year to help them take training at leading Russian universities, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said while meeting with Vietnamese counterpart in Moscow on Dec 15. Russia is now one of biggest education partners of Vietnam. The communist country wishes to boost comprehensive cooperation with Russia, especially in education and training, the Vietnamese Government said on its website Dec 16. The countries are cooperating to establish Vietnam-Russia Technology University in Vietnam in the future, it added.  At present, more than 5,000 Vietnamese students are studying in Russia.
