S.Korea to Fund $4.5M for Vietnam Water Supply Project

The South Korean government will fund $4.5 million for a project to build a clean water supply system in Vietnam’s central highlands province of Dak Lak from now up to 2013. The project, funded through the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) that and the local authorities signed an agreement on the aid on April 26, aims to supply 56,000 cu.m of water a day to 52,700 locals in Buon Ho town. Once operational, the system will help reduce diseases related to unclean water and improve living conditions of the locals.
