South Korea to Fund to Build $35M Hospital in Central Vietnam

The government of South Korea approved a development aid program for Vietnam including a fund for the construction of a 500-sickbed hospital that costs $35 million in the central province of Quang Nam. This will be the largest ODA project funded by South Korea, the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) said Jan. 6, adding the project is scheduled to start building late this month. The KOICA will send experts to Vietnam to support in healthcare policies and help train Vietnamese in medical technology.
