South Korea University Opens Representative Office in Vietnam

South Korea-based Pohang University of Science and Technology (Postech) has opened a representative office in Vietnam’s capital city of Hanoi as part of its plan to expand operation abroad. Postech is the first Korean university to open office in Vietnam, the Tuoi Tre newspaper reported. At the opening ceremony, Postech signed cooperative agreements with many local partners, the newspaper added. POSTECH has grown into one of the world’s leading science and technology research-oriented universities. Its 3,000 students, 800 researchers and 230 faculty members represent the brightest minds studying and researching at the large 165 hectare campus with the state-of-the-art facilities located in the southern east coast of Korea.
