Strategic Planning Coordinator

With projects and offices in Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam, WWF Greater Mekong Programme Office is working to conserve 600,000 km2 of
mainland Asia's most biologically diverse, economically significant and threatened forests and rivers, which are found in the Mekong Region and
home to more than 300 million people in Cambodia, China, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam.

WWF Greater Mekong Programme Office (GMPO) is seeking to recruit a well-qualified and full time experienced consultant for the position of
Strategic Planning Coordinator, based in Hanoi. The Strategic Planning Coordinator facilitates, provides guidelines and coordinates the
development of WWF Greater Mekong Strategic Plan (SP) FY 2011 - 2015. The Strategic Planning Coordinator works to ensure the SP development
processes and procedures throughout the organisation are coordinated with all stakeholders and communicated within GMPO and the rest of the
network effectively and efficiently, and SP gets approval by WWF International AP Director and GMP Senior Management team.

The key requirements are:
- Post graduate degree or relevant education background in strategic management, business, management; sound knowledge on strategic
planning tool and methodology;
- At least five years of relevant work experience in strategic planning and business / institutional planning issues, experience in strategic planning with international NGO is preferable;
- Strong coordination and team work experience with a dynamic, creative and outgoing personality and with preferably a commitment to
nature conservation;
- Excellent diplomatic, negotiation and communication skills are essential,
- Excellent facilitation skills, especially participatory approaches;
- Ability to work as part of a team;
- Excellent English language skills, editing and report writing skills;
- Proficiency in MS Office.
