Thanh Cong Garment to Add $190,000 to Upgrade Wastewater Treatment System

Thanh Cong Garment Trading and Investment JSC, or TCM will spend an additional VND3.4 billion ($190,000) to upgrade its wastewater and exhaust fumes treatment system, the company said in a statement. The garment firm will use the money to buy wastewater treatment equipment and replace its automatic incinerator and dust filtering system, the Dau Tu newspaper reported Wednesday. The firm, which is listed in the Hochiminh Stock Exchange (HOSE), Vietnam main bourse, has so far invested VND33.4 billion ($1.9 million) into building its wastewater and exhaust fumes treatment system. This year, TCM expects a net profit of VND60 billion on revenues of VND1.2 trillion.
