U.S. Atlantic Philanthropies Funds $2.5M Medical Faculty for Vietnam University

Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Vietnam’s central province of Thua Thien-Hue has started to build a community healthcare faculty costing $2.5 million funded by the U.S. Atlantic Philanthropies (AP). Covering a site of 4,000 square meters, the faculty includes studying rooms and a laboratory which will be equipped with advanced medical equipment, the Nhan dan newspaper reported.    The AP had donated $252.7 million for education and health projects in Vietnam between 1998 and 2007.
