Vietinbank Helps Build 105 Houses for Ethnic Minorities in Vietnam Province

Vietnam Commercial JS Bank for Industry and Trade (Vietinbank) and authorities of the central province of Thua Thien-Hue have started building 105 charitable houses for ethnic minority people in A Luoi district’s Hong Thuy commune. Total the project’s investment is VND3 billion, of which Vietinbank funded VND28.5 million for each household, the Dai Doan Ket newspaper reported July 23. Once in place, the houses will help locals prevent natural disasters and floods to stabilize their lives.  Vietinbank also pledged to help local people build a kindergarten and a community house with a total investment of more than VND2 billion in the future, the bank’s official said.
