Vietnam Central Highlands Province Stops 28 Forestation Projects

Vietnam’s central highlands province of Lam Dong has stopped 28 forestation projects with a combined area of 3,000 hectares because they failed to meet the requirements, the Sai gon Giai phong newspaper reported Wednesday. Local authorities said that they approved 341 enterprises to grow f 60,000 hectares of forest; however, only 10% of the total area been covered.
