Vietnam Central Province to Build Houses for 2,000 Poor Families in 2010

Authorities of Quang Tri province in central Vietnam plans to build houses for more than  2,000 poor households with total investment of between VND6 million and VND7 million each this year. In addition, the Bank for Social Policies has pledged that it will provide loans over 10 years worth VND8 million each at an interest rate of 3% per year, the Communist Party of Vietnam said on its website May 31.
Last year, the locality spent VND 10.9 billion on building houses for 1,784 poor families.
