Vietnam Central Province Starts Building $38.2M General Hospital

Vietnam’s central province of Quang Tri began to build a general hospital worth VND726.8 billion ($38.2 million) that uses the provincial budget and g-bonds on April 26. The 500-bed hospital, the biggest of its kind in the province, is slated for operation by the end of 2012, the Nhan dan newspaper reported.  The 20.58-ha hospital, which is located in the East-West economic corridor axis, close to the border with Laos, is one of major projects to mark the 1,000th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi.
