Vietnam Firm Begins to Build $45M Int’l Obstetrics Hospital

International Obstetrics Hospital JSC started to build an international obstetrics hospital worth VND857 billion ($45 million) in the central province of Nghe An’s Vinh city May 15. This is the first hospital of its kind in the province, the state-run Vietnam News Agency said. The 5.8-ha hospital that is expected to be completed in 2015 with 250 beds will offer check-up and treatment for 400 people a day. The company also operated the Saigon eye hospital that costs VND68 billion at Vinh City’s Ha Huy Tap ward after the two-year construction.
