Vietnam Government Asked to Spend $78.5M to Build Houses for the Poor

The Ministry of Construction has proposed the government to spend VND1.5 trillion ($78.5 million) from state budget to build houses for 180,000 poor families. The ministry’s move is to assist provinces nationwide that are facing difficulties in completing the construction of houses for the poor, the Nhan dan newspaper reported Tuesday.Vietnam needs VND7.9 trillion ($413.6 million) to build houses for nearly 500,000 needy households.
