Vietnam Hospital Opens $5M U.S. Atlantic-funded Eye Treatment Center

Vietnam’s Danang Eye Hospital opened a multi-functional eye treatment center costing $5 million funded by the U.S. Atlantic Philanthropies on April 28, the Tuoi tre newspaper reported. Covering a site of 5,500 square meters, the six-floor center includes medical check-up wards, multi-functional diagnosis wards, surgery rooms and a patient care area with 150 sick-beds.  The center, which is equipped with advanced medical equipment, is expected to meet the increasing demand of people in eye treatment.
