Vietnam Province Implements $38.46M ODA-funded Environment Projects

Nghe An province in central Vietnam has to date carried out the ODA-funded water supply and drainage projects that total $38.46 million. Of the sum, $21 million has been used to upgrade the clean water supply project and EUR13.6 million ($17.46 million) to improve the water drainage system in the second phase, the Nhan dan newspaper reported. The ODA sources’ details, however, were not released.  In 2010, foreign donors pledged $8.063 billion in ODA for Vietnam. The Southeast Asian country is forecast to disburse $3.5 billion in aid in the year.
