Vietnam Province Seeking Gov’t Nod to $31.6M Cardiovascular Hospital Project

Vietnam’s Mekong Delta province of An Giang is seeking the prime minister’s approval to build a cardiovascular hospital worth VND600 billion ($31.6 million). The hospital, to be built on six hectares in Long Xuyen city, will have 600 sick-beds, the government of Vietnam said on its website. Once fully operational in 2015, the project is expected to meet the increasing medical check-up and treatment demand of people in the Mekong Delta region and Cambodia’s Kandal province.
