Vietnam Province Starts WB Project of $2.6M to Improve Agro Competitiveness

Vietnam’s central province of Thanh Hoa started to implement $2.6 million project partly funded by the World Bank to increase a competitiveness of agricultural products, the Vietnam News Agency said.
The project will focus on improving technology in agro-production, supporting cooperation between producers and traders and upgrading infrastructure in rural areas, Chu Pham Ngoc Hien, vice chairman of Thanh Hoa’s People’s Committee was quoted as saying. Farmers participating in the project will apply new and environment-friendly technologies to produce high-quality goods meeting market requirements while increase their productivity.
