Vietnam to Send 100 Candidates to Japan for Post-graduation Training

Vietnam will send 100 candidates to Japan for post-graduation training courses next April or October, the Thoi Nay newspaper reported, quoting the Ministry of Education and Training. The ministry noted that the Japanese government will grant scholarships for all students. Japan started receiving Vietnamese trainees since 1992. Currently, more than 17,000 Vietnamese trainees are practicing and working in Japan. Since 2000, Vietnam had sent 7,290 students to study overseas, including over 2,100 PhD followers, more than 1,600 masters and 695 fellows.
