Vietnam Southern Province Starts WB-Funded $6.4M Husbandry Project

Vietnam’s southern province of Dong Nai has kick-started a World Bank-financed $6.4 million husbandry project, the Dai bieu nhan dan newspaper reported March 2. The project, which is slated for implementation for six years, with aims to improve competitiveness and food safety of local animal producers. In the first stage, the project will be piloted in Thong Nhat district. Lifsap also helps upgrade slaughtering facilities and 40 meat trading markets in Dong Nai.
