Vietnamese Evaluation Consultancy Team

25 December 2009 – 25 January 2010

Emergency program of Save the Children is looking for a national evaluation team to carry out the project evaluation for the project ‘Increasing reach of community-based child-focused disaster preparedness and response in 27 vulnerable communes in Yen Bai, Thanh Hoa, and Tien Giang provinces.

Key Competencies:
- Extensive experience, knowledge and skills in planning and implementing project evaluations 
- Solid experience in community based approaches and good knowledge of Vietnamese culture and administration
- Knowledge of the English and Vietnamese is obligatory
- Competence in quantitative and qualitative research, evaluation tools development, data collection and analysis
- Highly developed report writing skills 
- Experience in review and evaluation of disaster preparedness projects and familiarity with the rural development context in Vietnam is
