Workshop Invitation from Sustainable Health Development Centre (VietHealth)

The Sustainable Health Development Centre (VietHealth) is a Vietnamese NGO working in the field of healthcare and public health, with a particular focus on sexual and reproductive health, mother-and-child healthcare, HIV/AIDs awareness and prevention, disability awareness, prevention and rehabilitation, and primary and preventive healthcare.
Currently, VietHealth is a partnership with the Phu Tho Department of Health to implement the project “Piloting of a model for building capacity in Early Childhood Disability identification and prevention for VHWs and CHWs in Phu Tho Province", funded by The Finnish Evangelical Lutheran Mission (FELM).
The "Needs assessment" activity of this project was implemented successfully in February and March, 2010 in four communes: La Phu, Dao Xa, Hoang Xa and Xuan Loc in Thanh Thuy District, Phu Tho Province. The final report has been successfully completed.

On 21st May, 2010 VietHealth and Phu Tho Department of Health are holding a workshop to discuss recommendations on the needs assessment report that will include all the stakeholders. Along with the representatives from the health, social and education authorities at the commune, district and province levels, there will also be an appearance of representatives from the MoH, and local and international NGOs. The goal of the workshop is to give these stakeholders an opportunity to share their experience on implementing other projects and activities, and to contribute their valuable recommendations for the project.

The workshop is being held from 9:00 am to 11:30 am on 21st May, 2010 at Viet Tri City, Phu Tho Province

They are looking forward to hearing the valuable recommendations at the workshop that will facilitate the activities within the project, and lead to a successful completion of the project.
