The Citizen Generated Data (CGD) Webinar and Review of Executive Summary of the CGD report

The United Nations has announced Vietnam as one of 42 countries presenting the Voluntary National Review (VNR) for the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals in 2023. On October 19, 2022, the Ministry of Planning and Investment organized a workshop to kick off VNR 2023 in Vietnam, and currently, MPI/Research Group continues to receive documents and data from CSOs via the link https://bit.ly/UploadVNR.

In light of this, LNOB Vietnam has actively participated in mobilizing and encouraging CSOs and CBOs to contribute data to Vietnam's VNR process. Along with this attempt, as informed in the last LNOB Bi-month meeting, this Friday, December 16, 2022, we will organize a webinar to officially announce the key findings of the report  “Citizen-Generated Data – Community voices on Achievement of Sustainable Development Goals in Vietnam”. This is the joint effort of LNOB Vietnam members, officially started this July, to reflect the perspectives of vulnerable groups and civil society organizations on the levels of achievement of some indicators of SDG goals 1, 4, 5, 8, 13, and 16 in Vietnam so as to make voices heard and count.
