Regional workshop on Climate Change - A road to COP 21

As the 21st Session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 21) is to adopt a new global climate agreement, it is therefore significant CSOs share collective perspectives as input for this agreement and be engaged in the process. With this, Vietnam NGO’s Climate Change Working Group, together with Friedrich Ebert Stiftung in Vietnam, CCCN &, NGO Forum in Cambodia, Christian Aid in Philippines and Climate Watch from Thailand, is organizing a Regional Workshop on Climate Change: A Road to COP 21 from November 5-6, 2015 in Sunway hotel, 19 Pham Dinh Ho street, Hai Ba Trung district, Hanoi. The objectives of the workshop are to enhance knowledge among, and engaging CSOs in the debates on the international agreements especially on climate change; to share and exchange among CSOs on the national preparation for and engagement in the UNFCCC process leading to COP 2; to understand the political dynamics, process and mechanisms of the region; and to strengthen CSO platform and collaboration on climate change towards COP 21 and beyond.
