Training opportunity on "Natural-based Solutions" in Vietnamese

TRAINING OBJECTIVES

To strengthening the capacity of CCWG’s members on climate change response is the strategic focus of the network to enable them to deliver effective programs implementation at both national and community levels. While a number of CCWG member organizations are implementing climate change response as core activities, the internal capacity building needs assessment has identified some of the key capacity gaps that prevent them to work effectively. One of the prominent capacity gaps for CCWG members to deliver activities in alignment with national as well as international focuses is the most updated knowledge and practical experience in implementing Natural-based Solutions (NbS) at the community levels. With the support from Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Vietnam, CCWG organizes the training with the aims:

  • To provide an overview on the Natural-based Solutions with definitions and practices from multiple contexts, with international and local examples;
  • To improve the capacity of participants in research, design, planning, and implement NbS at community levels;
  • To share knowledge and practical experience from trainers and peer learning among the participant.
