Passerelles numériques, a non-profit organisation, is dedicated to helping as many young people as possible from disadvantaged backgrounds obtain education and qualified employment in the IT sector.
Established in Cambodia, the Philippines and Vietnam, Passerelles numériques currently trains 545 students and hopes to train 750 over the next 3 years. Passerelles numériques employs 75 people based in these three countries, as well as a small team in France.

Passerelles numériques depends on the financial support and skills of a number of partners such as Microsoft, HP, Accenture, Steria, Econocom, Altedia and Osiatis, as well as donations from individuals.
The project in Viet Nam began in 2010 in partnership with East Meets West (EMW) and the Software Development Center (SDC) of Da Nang University. There are currently 118 young people from under-privileged families from the central region of Viet Nam who have joined this program. In September 2013, 90 new students will join our training.

Job Description

The accountant will report to General Manager and PN Finance Manager in Paris.    
The general requirements for the position are:
- Ensure that all accounting data is recorded/ reported on time and accurately
- Perform administrative, payroll and HR admin tasks in a professional and systematic manner.

Role & Responsibilities

Accounting tasks

- Record daily  entries in the books according to the Passerelles numériques accounts chart and the analytical schemes (CEGID software)
- File all accounting documentations corresponding to each entry
- Bank and cash management: cash flow forecast, cash inventory, bank and cash reconciliations

- Strictly apply PNV financial procedures and request accurate authorization before cost occurrence
- Follow up advance and close them accordingly


- Provide the GM, PN France and/or any other third party with relevant  and accurate reporting schemes
- Set up additional reporting schemes on demand to help the GM in managing his/her budget
- Assist  external audits by providing relevant documentation and explanation of the financial statements when necessary
- Payroll and HR admin tasks
- Process monthly payment to staff and service contractors with respect to the labor regulation
- Follow up the legal framework evolution
- Update and maintain records of employee payment and benefits and answers employee questions regarding payroll matters
- Follow up staff attendance and apply PNV internal rules

Administrative tasks

- Ensure that service contractors, house renting contract are valid (date and amount)
- Assist GM in administrative paper works
- Update internal procedures according to PN general requirement Proceed with regular material inventory in collaboration with department managers
- Make sure that accounting assets entries match with inventory
Skills and Experience

- Bachelor degree in Accounting,
- Vietnamese national
- Good spoken and written English
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Three years  working experience in the relevant field
- Excellent use of Microsoft office software, emails and internet.
- Knowledge of accounting software is a plus 
- Rigor, honesty, team work and well organized attitude
- Willingness to progress and to work for non-profit organization
