Accountant

Sustainable Rural Development (SRD) is a national NGO which is inherited by CIDSE with 28 years of experiences in working in the field of poverty alleviation in Vietnam. We empower disadvantaged communities in rural and mountainous areas to manage sustainably their own livelihood systems, regardless of ethnic groups, gender, or religious belief. SRD currently focuses on   Sustainable Agriculture, Rural Livelihoods, Climate Change, Local Governance, and Pro-Poor Policy Advocacy.
We are currently looking for a qualified candidate to fill the position of Accountant, based in Hanoi with travels to project sites occasionally. SRD offers good opportunities for working, learning and sharing within the dynamic Team of SRD

Overall Responsibilities:
1. Preparing and processing the daily payments to cash/bank
2. Managing and keeping accounting records
3. Making apportions monthly for fuel and stationery
4. Making internal entries (Journal Vouchers of PIT and Fixed Assets, bank reconcilation).
5. Managing and controling fixed assets and drawing up periodic inventory on Fixed Assets Book
6. Checking budget of both organization and projects;
7. Maintaining and managing financial data bases, computer software systems and manual filing systems
8. Checking vouchers/ receipts/procedures, quarterly/annually financial reports of project partners
9. Performing other related tasks as required.
 
Qualification required:
- Bachelor degree in Accounting major;
- Good in both English and Vietnamese;
- High attention to details and accuracy
- Good analytical and organizational skills;
- Creativity & teamwork;
- Good computer skills especially Excel, Words, PowerPoint, Accounting Software;
- At least 3 years working experience in the same position;
- Previous experience in working with non-government organization/s (NGO) will be an added advantage.

Remuneration:
Net monthly income would be from $500 - $700 depending on the qualifications and competitiveness.
