Accountant

The Institute for Social Development Studies (ISDS) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization under the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA). ISDS was established on May 27, 2002 under the Decision 486 / TC-LHH. To date, ISDS has become one of the most prestigious research institutions in Vietnam for the quality of work and commitment to the application of scientific knowledge to national problems – by providing knowledge and making impact that leads to positive change. The vision of ISDS is to alleviate poverty in Vietnam, encourage the participation of people in decisions, strategies and programs for national development, and social justice.

ISDS are looking for an accountant with specific information as follows.

Mission:

The accountant will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Monitor the implementation of ISDS projects
• Collect and verify vouchers of projects implememted by ISDS
• Summarize and make detailed accounting of the projects
• Support the general work of the accounting department and the chief accountant
• Coordinate with project officers for other relevant tasks
• Make financial reports of the projects when required

Requirements:

• A Bachelor degree in accounting or finance
• At least 2 years of experience in the field of ODA project accounting
• Dynamic, enthusiastic, careful and have a team spirit
• Proficient in office automation and accounting softwares
• Summarize and report skills
• Ability to use English in work
• Candidates who have been employed as accountant for NGOs in the social field or ODA projects, and are able to use accounting softwares such as Misa and Bravo are preferred
