Accountant & Treasurer Support 

Join the Consortium for Health Action  – Seeking Accountant & Treasurer Support 

The Consortium for Health Action (Health-Action) is a U.S.-and Vietnam-registered nonprofit committed to improving early childhood outcomes through early intervention. We are launching new projects in Vietnam to identify children with autism symptoms while they are still really young when early intervention is most effective.  We also will study the impact of screen time limits and support families with younger siblings at risk for autism. Our work includes public health research, parent training programs, and development of a digital platform to scale our interventions.

We are currently seeking two dedicated individuals to support our finance and compliance operations as we prepare to launch our first locally funded initiatives:

1. Part-Time Accountant (Hourly / Flexible)

Purpose:
To help open and manage our NGO bank account in Vietnam and ensure ongoing compliance with PACCOM and other local financial regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Open and maintain the CHA local bank account.
  • Ensure all financial records comply with Vietnamese regulations for international NGOs.
  • Support monthly and annual reporting to PACCOM.
  • Provide hourly bookkeeping and compliance support as needed.

Requirements:

  • Degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • Familiarity with NGO or non-profit financial regulations in Vietnam.
  • Flexible availability and strong attention to detail.
  • Prior experience with PACCOM compliance is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate in English preferred

2. Treasurer (Volunteer Preferred – Paid Option Possible)

Purpose:
To serve as the financial steward of CHA’s Vietnam operations, guiding responsible budgeting, reporting, and compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee financial procedures and reporting.
  • Support transparent tracking of funds and project budgets.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the Founding Director and leadership team.
  • Liaise with external accountants, auditors, or government agencies as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in nonprofit finance, accounting, or auditing.
  • Ability to communicate in English required.
  • Willingness to volunteer a few hours per month (honorarium or stipend may be considered).
