ACT/EMP National Programme Officer

The ILO Office in Vietnam invites applications from Vietnamese nationals for the following position:

1.ACT/EMP National Programme Officer

Applications are invited for the position of ACT/EMP NOA in Viet Nam under the Strengthening EOs for effective and impactful engagement in inclusive social and labour policy and service development project (EO project), Norway Partnership Agreement

The NOA will work under the technical supervision of the Regional Project Coordinator (RPC) based in DWT Bangkok and DWT BKK Senior Employers’ Specialist (ES) as well as administrative supervision of CO-Viet Nam and in close cooperation with the VCCI secretariat. The NOA will report to the RPC and ES and work closely with relevant ILO specialists and programme officers.

Minimum Requirements include:

• First level university degree in social sciences, business, economics, policy. 
• At least three years of professional experience at the national level in related fields
• Excellent command of English and Vietnamese (oral and written)
• Experience in working with business membership organizations, government, and think tanks.
• Networks with private sector actors including sectoral associations and foreign chambers.
• Communication, analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to draft in English and submit required reports in timely manner.
• Good knowledge of programming and budgeting, project formulation, administration and evaluation techniques and practices.
• Ability to deal with people with tact and diplomacy.
• Ability to work on own initiative as well as well as in a team.
