Administration Officer

The project "Improving quality basic education for ethnic minority children in three disadvantaged provinces in Vietnam” is a project of the Save the Children International and implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Training (Department of the Ethnic minority education as the lead agency) in the three provinces of Yen Bai, Quang Tri and Dien Bien. The project is funded by a grant from the Japanese Social Development Fund (JSDF Grant No. TF093411), a trust fund administered by the World Bank. The total grant is USD1, 809,000. The project runs for 4 years, starting from 2 June 2009. The overall objective of the project is to assist the government of Vietnam in supporting children aged 5–14 from ethnic minority communities in three provinces of Vietnam to
complete a quality primary education and continue their education in lower secondary school. The project is looking for a dynamic Vietnamese citizen for the position of Administration Officer.

Vacancy: Administration Officer
Work location: Hanoi

Main Responsibilities:
The Administration officer is responsible for coordinating administrative, logistic and support services relating to the JSDF programme for partners and the teams based in the Hanoi office.

Key Competencies:
- University degree in related field
- 4 years in work experience in administration field, with NGO is preferable
- Good English written and verbal skills
- Computer literacy
- Good problem solving , negotiating and mediation skills
- Ability to establish priorities and plan, organize, and coordinate a variety of work activities.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documents and to prepare written reports, conclusions, and recommendations.
