Project information: The Biogas Program for the Animal Husbandry Sector in Vietnam, initiated by the Vietnamese and the Netherlands governments, executed by the Department of Livestock Production (DLP) under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) and SNV achieves environmental protection and poverty alleviation for the country in nearly 50 provinces in Vietnam since 2003. Biogas Project Management Unit  (PMU) is seeking an experienced and qualified Vietnamese candidate for the position of Administration Officer.

Biogas Project Management Unit  (PMU) is seeking an experienced and qualified Vietnamese candidate for the position of Chief Accountant.

Summary of job: Chief Accountant will assist the Project Management Team with key financial tasks of the whole project activities as well as field based activities with partners. This position will be based in Hanoi with occasional travel to the provinces as required. PMU offers a competitive remuneration package commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Selection Criteria:

• Background in finance/accounting with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Sound knowledge on project financial management, financial analysis, budgeting and reporting.
• Strong communication/coordination and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in partnership working.
• Understanding on development works is required.
• Good planning, management, coaching and facilitation skills.
