Ao Dai Festival (ADF) Part-Time Assistant

Friends of Hue Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable, non-profit tax-exempt, non-governmental organization (NGO/INGO). The primary mission of the foundation is to provide assistance to impoverished people and victims of natural disasters in the Thua Thien Hue province of Central Vietnam.
Our mission is to provide long-term assistance in economic self-sufficiency, health care, education and emergency relief for victims of natural disasters in Thua Thien Hue and nearby areas in Central Vietnam. The assistance projects are diverse, efficient and flexible to accommodate changing needs over time. FHF hopes to later expand services to other neighboring provinces as funding allows.
They are looking for an experienced and dynamic Vietnamese citizen to fill the following position:
AO DAI FESTIVAL (ADF) PART-TIME ASSISTANT

The role: The ADF Assistant will provide support, under the direct supervision of The Children’s Shelter US Director, for the Ao Dai Festival to be held on September 15, 2012 through a range of actions contributing to the design, planning, management and monitoring of ADF activities.

Key responsibilities:
- 15 – 20 hours per week, depending on shifting work load (more demanding as show date approaches), including irregular hours
- Coordinating schedules between multiple show directors, answering emails, processing paperwork to facilitate ADF event
- Gather donations & sponsorships from Vietnam
- Contacting and working with partners, clients, staff
- Updating Facebook, Twitter, and/or other Social Media mediums
- Other tasks assigned by ADF Director & Project Manager

Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree with specialization in social work, community development, or business management,
- Excellent command of English especially in written & communication skills
- Excellent oral and persuasion skills (In English)
- At least one year working experience for the position of clerk or project assistant
- Proficient in Computer skills, especially fluent at MS Office & Excel
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Able to work from home but must have computer and internet for regular contact with the Chairman
- Must be available to work with US time zone
- Attend staff meeting at FHF Hue Office at least once a month
- Have work experience in projects and mass media is a HUGE advantage
- Flexible, exhibits great initiative in work

Salary:
Up to 250 USD plus insurance, depending on experience
