Business Advisor – Business Development Asia
Location: Ha Noi, Vietnam

About the job

As the Business Advisor for Business Development in Asia:

• you are responsible for business development, account management and realizing new business opportunities in the Asia Region covering Vietnam, the Philippines and Indonesia;
• you will contribute to the growth of the regional project portfolio, generating income from institutional donors, private sector, and financial sector partners;
• you will manage the capture and prospect development for forecasted opportunities, including early intelligence gathering and pre-positioning with donors and partner identification / engagement;
• you build and maintain a network and lead partner negotiations and teaming agreements;
• you will coordinate effective and timely with members involved, from start to final contract to a smooth handover for further implementation;
• you will support and coach Business Advisors in Asia on business development activities and report to the Regional Manager Asia.

What do you offer?

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, added with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an international non-profit firm;
• Sound understanding of funding mechanisms and procurement procedures in the international development sector, specialised in the private and financial market, in-depth knowledge of the mission and work of Agriterra;
• High level of proficiency in English, strong networking, communication, and presentation skills,
• Business mindset, pro-active work approach, attention to detail, able to adapt to shifting demands and deadlines.
