1. Business Development Manager

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree related to business development management (such as: Business Management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, development…)
  • At least 3-5 years of project development, project management, good communication skills and seeking funding opportunities
  • Experience and Good skill of intelligence gathering, partner relationships and other available resource, get relationship donors
  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders from a range of professional and civil society backgrounds
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills in both English and Vietnam
  • The candidate will be responsible for the following:
  • To develop, implement and achieve, in line with agreed plans and budgets, a range of proactive fundraising activities and strategy
  • To Conduct prospecting visits to Organization’s Country Offices to identify and prepare for upcoming funding opportunities
  • To manage Action s for pre-solicitation proposal preparations and bid planning including: teaming, bid strategy, development of win-themes, oversight of and contribution to technical design, drafting management and other sections of the proposal in advance of the solicitation.
  • To maintain a portfolio of existing supporter relationships and donors;
  • To research and develop relationships with potential new supporters; actively participate in the networks around trusts, foundations and major donors;
  • To meet with and present to potential supporters as appropriate; Represent The organization’s business development interests at relevant meetings, events, and within resource mobilization or donor-specific peer networks, as it relates to funding streams.
  • To maintain all appropriate donor records and returns;
  • To assist with the analysis of fundraising achievement against targets.
  • Department to develop and manage new revenue generating online marketing opportunities.
  • To assist with fundraising events (which will involve some out of hours work);
  • To keep up to date with relevant legislation and developments which are relevant to the sector and to work within the guidelines as laid down by the Fundraising Standards Board and other regulatory bodies;
  • To undertake any other duties as may reasonably be required from time to time within the Department.

2. Microfinance Managing Director

Specific Job Duties:

  • Develop and implement objectives, action plans, budgets and initiatives as assigned by the Board of Directors;
  • Produce for review by the Board of Directors, monthly and quarterly financial and narrative reports on activity targets and management accounts;
  • In consultation with the Board of Directors, monitor and adjust the MFI Business Plan to accurately reflect its strategic direction;
  • Develop strategies to mobilize financial resources for the growth of the MFI;
  • Facilitate the development of the staffs skills and knowledge;
  • Ensure that the organization follows best practices for internal control and risk management.
  • Create and implement a framework for the operation of an effective team.
  • Maintain positive relationships with donors and other stakeholders and actively seek new sources of additional funding from these donors through proposals and other fund-raising efforts;
  • Ensure that all of the MFI’s activities achieve planned outcomes or that revisions to these planned outcomes are made as needed;
  • Regularly report to donors, stakeholders and World Relief the progress towards goals as well as plans for the next reporting period;
  • Maintain good relationship with the government and ensure the MFI is in compliance with all relevant laws, statutes, and regulations;
  • Actively participating in improving the MFI by developing and making recommendations, creating innovative training methods, cutting costs, working more efficiently, etc.;

Qualifications:

  • University degree or equivalent experience
  • Five years management experience
  • Fluency in English
  • Good product development and portfolio management capabilities.
  • Must have a high sense of responsibility, accountability, integrity and ethical standards.
