Call for Proposals on CEDAW Programme Activities to Support CSOs

Call for proposals: Support to NGO Networks working on Gender Equality and Women’s Rights to Strengthen Coordination and Use of CEDAW for Advocacy in Viet Nam

Under the CEDAW SEAP Phase II framework, UN Women in Viet Nam is inviting civil society organisations, educational and academic institutions to submit proposals with the aim to increase knowledge and ability of NGOs to use the Convention on Elimination of all Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) for analysis on the situation of women and advocacy for gender equality in Viet Nam.

This project will help to build capacity of NGOs to promote and protect women’s human rights in Viet Nam, and to strengthen monitoring and advocacy for implementation of CEDAW commitment in the country.

UN Women in Viet Nam is seeking qualified local civil society organizations/academic institutions to undertake the tasks mentioned in the attached TOR, ensuring they are consistent with recommendations to achieve logical results in the areas of gender equality and women’s rights.

Closing time for applications is 5.00 PM (Hanoi time, GMT+7) on 13 December 2013.
