Positions available

ENV is currently seeking for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about wildlife protection to join our Demand Reduction team. This team is responsible for species- focused campaigns. While this is a junior position, we are seeking a candidate who has strong communication skills and isn’t afraid to talk to people, whether they are business people, government officers or members of the public, about the problems with consuming wildlife and wildlife products.

The successful candidate will be visibly passionate and motivated to work to save wildlife in Vietnam and will be able to communicate and pass on this passion to the public.

Description of position

1. Coordinate and execute existing public outreach activities and campaigns

  • Organize and conduct public awareness events, including public exhibits in parks and shopping centers as well as other public outreach campaigns. Events are mainly in Hanoi and occasionally other locations
  • Coordinate a species focused campaign
  • Develop corporate relationships to promote species protection through businesses
  • Coordinate with the Communication and Public Awareness department to develop effective viral campaigns to increase awareness about wildlife trade issues
  • Coordinate with the Volunteer Coordinator and Outpost Coordinator to ensure that species campaigns are implemented by volunteers nationwide

2. Develop the public outreach program

  • Undertake the review and development of existing projects
  • Develop new resources for awareness activities and events
  • Develop and manage new and innovative campaigns, activities and programs as required
  • Develop new partnerships with the aim of expanding the demand reduction program

3. Reporting

  • Coordinate the reporting of individual outreach events
  • Assist in finalizing reports of the program and initiatives as required4. Complete other duties and assignments as specified by ENV managers

Qualifications

  • Vietnamese citizen with university degree
  • Good verbal and written English; Strong written Vietnamese
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with the public
  • Good coordination and organization skills
  • Good graphic design skills
  • Able to design and develop new idea, concept
  • Creativeness and passion, high responsibility and high demanding
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and pay attention to details
  • Familiar with and keen on high-tech, modern applications and new technologies.
