The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria

VUSTA is currently managing a component under the “Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria” in Viet Nam, phase 2018 – 2020. In which, the Institute for Social Development Studies (ISDS) is responsible for the implementation of the project in 05 cities/ provinces namely Hanoi, Hai Duong, Nam Dinh, Vinh Phuc, and Thai Nguyen; and has established a Global Fund Project department in the institute for this activity.

The objectives of the project are:

  • Objective 1: To provide prevention services to reduce HIV transmission rate among drug users, sex workers, and MSM in the 15 provinces of the project
  • Objective 2: To strenghthen community network to ensure the effective and sustaibable participation of the community in HIV/AIDS prevention activities,
  • Objective 3: To tackle legal barriers so as to construct a supportive environment for the populations to access services in prevention, care, and HIV treatment, and to enhance the participation of science and technique organisations and community-based organisations in HIV prevention in Viet Nam.

The Global Fund Department at ISDS is currently looking for 01 individual for the position of Cashier cum Admin from December 2019 to June 2020 with the possiblity of extension.

Key Responsibilities:

Cashier cum Admin person is responsible for work related to finance, the management of cash flow, administration, property management, and record preservation of the project, as well as other tasks as required by the Board of Directors of the Institute.

In specific,

  • To be responsible for transitions with banks, tax agencies, and insurance agencies.
  • To be responsible for cash related issues.
  • To participate in admin work and property management of the project.
  • To support with preservation of records.
  • To conduct other work as required by the Board of Director of the Institute.
  • To participate in common activities of the Institute.


  • Intermediate level or higher.
  • Enthuasiastic and honest individual.
  • Those with experience working in Vietnamese or international NGO and interevention programmes in HIV prevention, especially with community-based organisations and vulnerable populations (such as people living with HIV, drug users etc.) are prefereable.
  • Good teamwork skills and adaptability in work environment with high pressure
  • Proficient computer skills
