Vacancy: Civil Society Organization Project Officer
Based in Hanoi

We are looking for a Vietnamese national for the position of Civil Society Organization Project Officer to work for our Northern Area Office. The successful candidate will be based in Hanoi.

Main Responsibilities: to work under the guidance and supervision of the Project Manager and in close coordination with partners to ensure effective, efficient and cost-sensitive operations of the “Supporting civil society in Vietnam-Support Right to Education, Civil Culture and Ethnicity Project” in the assigned geographical locations.

Key Competencies:

Essential

  • University degree in social sciences fields
  • Have at least 3-5 years experiences working in the development areas, working with children, especially ethnic minorities ones.
  • Ability to learn quickly and respond to multiple demands
  • Positive attitude to working with children in schools, parents, school and communities leaders,
  • Experience working in schools with school management and students
  • Knowledge of child participation, child right governance is a plus
  • Excellent project management, communication and capacity building skills
  • Solid understanding of the Vietnamese government system
  • Fluency in English speaking and writing

Desirable

  • Have experience of managing sub-grants
  • Have experiences working in Van Chan, Yen Bai
  • Have experiences in working with CSOs
